  • Credit card payments – Visa and Mastercard payments are preferred. Payments via AMEX will incur a 3% surcharge.

  • Cheques should be made payable to: Present Company Included
Please note that for some indent orders 50% deposit may be required prior to commencement of production with balance as per COD or Account Terms.

Once the goods are ordered and decorated, we are unable to accept cancellations or returns, unless there is a manufacturing fault. Production usually begins quickly upon approval, so in most cases it’s not possible to change or cancel an order. If your order is cancelled prior to production, you may still incur cancellation and return-to supplier fees.

This depends on the type of service you require. We offer different services to meet different promotional time frames, budgets and branding requirements.

  • Local stock is decorated locally and the lead time is generally around 2 weeks from art approval. Fast track local production times are available for some products, so you’ll need to speak to our account director before production can be fast-tracked.
  • Indent Air (air freight) is produced and decorated offshore (overseas) and generally takes 4 to 5 weeks from art approval. It offers great versatility in terms of printing methods, custom design and PMS matching.
  • Indent Sea (sea freight) is also produced and decorated offshore (overseas). Similarly to the air service, it offers great versatility in terms of printing methods, custom design and PMS matching. It is also very cost effective, but comes with longer lead times, between 8 to 10 weeks, and in most cases around 12 weeks from art approval.

There are more ways than one to branding promotional products. Here is a guide to our most frequently used decoration methods.

  • Laser engraving produces a permanent natural finish using a laser to mark the product. Different materials produce different effects when engraved so to avoid uncertainty pre-production samples are recommended. Laser engraving produces higher perceived value finish and gives a similar finish to etching on glassware at a much lower cost. It works on curved or uneven products and it can produce variable data including individual names.
  • Pad printing uses a silicone pad to transfer an image to a product from a laser etched printing plate. It is one of the most popular and affordable ways of branding promotional products due to its ability to reproduce images on uneven or curved products and print multiple colours in a single pass. Pad printing is ideal for printing on curved or uneven products.
  • Embroidery uses rayon thread which is stitched into the product. It is an excellent way of branding bags, apparel and other textile products. It offers higher perceived value and a depth of branding quality which other processes can’t match and the finished image has a slightly raised effect. Only approximate PMS colour matches are possible – the threads to be used are chosen from those available to give the closest possible match. It is best to avoid both fine detail and font sizes that are less than 4 mm high in the artwork.
  • Debossing is produced by pressing a hot engraved metal plate into the surface of a product with a lot of pressure. This produces a permanent image below the surface of the product. Some products offer thermo debossing, which creates a stunning two-tone finish.
  • Embossing is the opposite of debossing where the artwork is raised instead of being pressed into the promotional product. Embossing raises your logo above the background level.
  • Foil stamping is a specialized printing process that uses heat and pressure to embellish the surface of an item which requires a stamping block to be made in the image to be stamped. The “printing” is done using an industrial foil with a special adhesive backing. The heat and the pressure of the machine makes the foil bond with the surface of the item being stamped. A foil stamp is a permanent image on the surface of an item and looks shiny, glossy and smooth. Generally, promotional items can be foil stamped in gold, silver, black and a limited range of other metallic colours. Foil stamping can be done on items made from leather, vinyl or polyurethane (PU) as well as onto card, paper and some plastics.
  • Digital Printing. Involves the transfer of ink directly from the print heads of an inkjet machine to the product and can be used to produce both spot colour and full colour branding on flat or slightly curved surfaces. This process is ideal for printing dark coloured products as a layer of white ink can be printed under the artwork. Some of the advantages include: ability to print variable data including individual names, instant drying so products can be shipped immediately, larger print areas on many products and can print very close to the edge of flat products.
  • Sublimation Printing is a printing process that uses heat to transfer dye onto medium materials such as a plastic card, paper, or fabric. Sublimation print is used for branding products that have a special coating on them or fabrics suitable for the sublimation process. A transfer is produced by printing sublimation ink onto transfer paper and then heat-pressing it onto the product. This type of printing is ideal for producing vivid full colour images as well as spot colour branding.
  • Screen Printing is achieved by forcing ink through a fine mesh screen with a squeegee onto the product and is ideal for branding flat or cylindrical objects. Large print areas are possible on both flat and cylindrical products. Close PMS colour matches are possible on white or light-coloured products. This type of print is ideal for large solid areas of colour. Most screen print inks are quick drying and can be shipped immediately after printing.

PMS or Pantone Matching System is a book of standardised colours used to identify, match and communicate colours in order to produce accurate colour matches for any decoration. Each colour has a coded number indicating instructions for mixing inks to achieve that colour.

Variable Data printing is a form of digital printing, in which elements such as text, graphics and images may be changed from one printed piece to the next, without stopping or slowing down the printing process and using information from a database or external file. For example, a set of labels, each with the same basic layout, can be printed with a different name on each label, achieving a greater level of personalisation.

The best file formats for artwork are original vector files. Vector artwork typically comes from Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or Adobe photoshop (.eps). Please ensure that the fonts are outlined within the artwork, which means that they are embedded and will not be lost or changed when the file is opened on a different PC.

Yes, you will receive a digital proof of your artwork prior to production. The proof will give you an opportunity to check all order details, including logo placement, logo size and position, prints colour and other details prior to proceeding with production.

Vector artwork will create a sharp print that also gives us the opportunity to change the size of the artwork either up or down, without the image looking pixelated or blurry or losing detail. If you don’t have the artwork in a vector format, we may be able to re-draw your logo. Please contact us for more information.

Pre-Production Samples (PPS) are available upon request. Generally, for custom made and offshore orders, we recommend supplying PPS or PPS images. Please speak with your account director if you require PPS as this may impact on the production times and they can provide you with the updated timeline and quote.
